Jourdon started swimming lessons June 15th and ended on the 26th. It was really cold when he started but he was a trooper and they still swam in the cold. The last day did get rained out. He did really well and progressed this year so that he is okay to put his head under water and was blowing bubbles with his mouth. He loves to use the kick board to swim on his own. A warm day at the pool. 
This is what it looked like on the way to the pool the first day.
The life guard in the blanket had to save Jourdon on the first day of swimming. He was playing on his kick board while his teacher was helping another child. His board got away from him and was going out to the deep end so Jourdon just went in after it. He went under a couple of times before she got to him but he was fine when she pulled him out and he got right back in. His teacher stoped helping the class right then and taught him how to bob back to the shallow end. It was a little scary and I am grateful she was so attentive and was doing her job so well.
